Somerset Photographer
Somerset Region is Queensland's lake country — a landscape of reservoirs, rolling hills and quiet rural communities an hour west of Brisbane. It's genuinely different to the coast: the light is harder, the pace slower, the settings more raw. I shoot in Somerset for clients who want something out of the ordinary — rural portraits at Esk or Lowood, event coverage in the small communities of the upper Brisbane Valley, and commercial work for agricultural and rural businesses operating across the region.
Booking Note — Somerset
The reservoir landscapes are most dramatic from May through September when water levels are typically higher and cool-morning mist creates extraordinary atmosphere at sunrise. Confirm dam levels before finalising lake session dates.

We wanted something completely different for our engagement shoot. Lake Wivenhoe at golden hour with Chris was exactly that — nothing like the usual. Totally worth the drive out.Mark & Emma Esk
